Safety plans in order for DOT

DOT has a plan for the next few years to upgrade roads to improve safety on our state highways.  Officials were at a Transportation Fair in Palmer last week to answer questions about some of the upcoming safety plans.

Phase 2 of Wildwoods Park is complete

Two dozen or so volunteers worked to complete phase 2 of Wildwoods Playground in Talkeetna.  A rock sculptor from the lower 48 was just one of the people assisting in completing the next phase of the new playground built this summer.

Princess Lodge closes up for another season

After a long and tragic summer, Princess employees and management packed and closed the lodge for another season.  Manager Dave Arnott spoke to the long and difficult summer and the tragedies that he said brought employees closer together.
