Planning for Petersville Road was put on the shelf after the South Denali Visitor Center site moved to the Parks Highway in 2006.  Now, DOT is looking at the possibilities of repaving a portion of the Road and examining a bike and pedestrian pathway for the first few miles of the road.  The design is in the draft  2010-2013 STIP, now in public comment phase.
