The Susitna Community Council is holding board of director elections next week during their regular council meeting on Thursday, November 5 at the Senior Center/ Su Valley High School .Four seats are up for election and four candidates tossed their hats in the ring. Outgoing council members not running for office again are Robert Ambrose, Sue Drover and Mandy Hartley. Current council president Robert Coleman’s seat is up for election and Coleman opted to run for office again. Candidates running for regular board of director positions are Wade Bartel, Phenie Miller and Bronn Salmon. Running for two alternate seats are Scott Holcomb, Davis Miller and Eric Runstrom.

Absentee ballots are available by calling council member Terrence Shanigan at 907-244-8165.

The Susitna Community Council area encompasses an area north of Willow, including Caswell, up to the Trapper Creek area and bordering on the Talkeetna Community Council area near Answer Creek.
