Musher attempts Talkeetna puppy and dog rescue

A local musher helped a stranded family on their homestead at Baldy Mountain and suffered injuries in the process. Steve Geiger hurt his leg as he attempted to rescue a woman by dog team. The rescue is two weeks past and while Geiger’s bruises slowly diminish, his medical bills increase.
