Upper Valley Seniors finally get to move back home

After a year and a half of being homeless, the Upper Susitna Seniors have their final walk thru this week in their old home.  The seniors gave up their center for the students of the Upper Valley to have a place to go to school while the new Su Valley school was built.  They need assistance Friday with the major part of the move.

KTNA will be broadcasting President Obama’s State of the Union address live on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 pm.  Local KTNA news will air at 7 p.m. after the Republican response from Virginia governor Robert McDonnell.

Chase Community Council elects 2 new board members

The Chase Community Council elected two new board members at their meeting last Thursday.  Three people ran for two open seats.  Kim Sternberg and James Tunnell both won a seat on the Board of Directors and will be seated immediately. (more…)
