Using the results of your input on the recent Listener Survey, the newly seated Community Advisory Board and KTNA staff have made some changes to our broadcast schedule. “Read More” for a description of some of the schedule change highlights.

News and talk program changes: Morning news listeners will hear BBC World Service until 7 am. We’re adding APRN’s morning news segment at 7:55 am. APRN’s Talk of Alaska is back, with Steve Heimel, on Tuesday at 10 am. Alaska News Nightly will air at 6:30 pm, moving from 5:30. In the 7 pm weekday hour, Line One, Your Health Connection, moves to Monday evening, Nuggets and Encounters are back to back on Tuesday, and City Arts and Lectures moves to Thursday.
Music programming changes: By popular demand, we’ve added Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me! at 11 am on Sunday, G-Rock is moving to 2 pm on Sunday, Acoustic Accents airs at 3 pm. Piano Jazz is at 11 pm. Folk Sampler moves to 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon, and a new locally hosted show, All My Jazz, is on at 8 pm on Thursday. The Brazilian Hour moves to 11 pm on Friday. Since listeners seem to love the Saturday lineup, we didn’t mess with it at all! Happy listening.
