by Sue Deyoe ~ June 10th, 2011
The search for Talkeetna resident and former Iditarod musher Melanie Gould was called off today. The last confirmed sighting of Gould was early Tuesday and since that time Troopers have been looking for her. A search involved dozens of people and aircraft started Sunday. The search was terminated this afternoon and all resources have been removed from the field.

Why: is she home safe???? It seems clear to almost everyone who has read the reports that she was abducted, possibly transferred to another vehicle after getting out of hers. It seems everyone BUT the troopers sees something extremely wrong here. I know Alaska is big, but if this is too much trouble, maybe they should get an easier job. I’m sorry to be critical, but this is outrageous
WE WANT MELANIE HOME SAFE!!
