Talkeetna man arrested on assault

Alaska State Troopers responded to a call on Saturday night of a shotgun blast at a Talkeetna residence.
19 year old Harley Huffman was placed under arrest and remanded to Mat Su Pretrial and charged with Assault. Troopers found that he had engaged in a verbal fight and a physical altercation with a family member. He retrieved a shotgun from a vehicle and aimed and shot it into another vehicle parked at the residence.
Huffman is being held at Mat Su Pretrial on $1000 cash bail.
