Many Talkeetna and Trapper Creek school age children eat breakfast and lunch at school five days a week. This helps families feed their children and manage food costs during the winter months. The holidays are tough because children are no longer getting meals at school. Talkeetna residents and businesses have been helping to fill the gap.
