Lt. Governor Craig Campbell has asked that the write-in ballots in Tuesday’s state-wide election get counted earlier than the scheduled date of November 18th. The division of elections plans on counting those ballots starting November 10th. They believe the process will take three days. Go to the state website for District 15 results as well as tallies statewide.
Voters will decide on Tuesday if the state legislature should be increased by six new legislative districts. On Friday, a number of residents in the Talkeetna area reported political signs missing from their property. Whoever removed the signs wasn’t choosey. McAdams, Parnell, Crawford, Berkowitz and Miller signs were taken. (more…)
