Lt. Governor Craig Campbell has asked that the write-in ballots in Tuesday’s state-wide election get counted earlier than the scheduled date of November 18th. The division of elections plans on counting those ballots starting November 10th. They believe the process will take three days. The Susitna Community Council is in the process of finalizing its 501(C)3 status as a federally recognized non-profit organization. With the formalization of the status, the council is a step closer to receive the state’s revenue share funds that have accumulated over the past three years. (more…)
