The state’s Division of Oil and Gas at Department of Natural Resources has taken to heart the comments concerning the Susitna Basin Exploration Licenses. Today’s deadline for the public to comment on the proposed expansion of the military training range has been extended again. The Alaska Command will now accept public comments for two more weeks until March 4. (more…)
The Alaska delegation introduced legislation to Congress that would clear the way for an in-state, natural gas pipeline to be built along the Parks Highway. The bill is aimed to authorize a right-of-way along the highway and also through a small portion of the Denali National Park. (more…)
