Cindy Clark is the new chairperson of the board of directors for the Upper Susitna Senior Center. Prior to her taking the helm, Hermon Thompson served as the board’s president.
A search and rescue mission had a good ending when Talkeetna troopers successfully found three lost snowmachiners from Houston who were out riding their machines east of Yoder Road.
The upper Susitna Valley is about to receive some upgrades of emergency related equipment and radio capabilities.
