Alaska Railroad Corporation freight and passenger service has resumed between Anchorage and Fairbanks. Railroad crews completed repairs between Talkeetna and Hurricane late Wednesday night.

Water and ice flows from the Susitna river damaged the track and railbed between Railroad milepost 238 and 254\. Freight service between Anchorage and Fairbanks was halted while crews completed repairs.
