# Artists gather in Denali State Park this weekend

Alaska State Parks is starting a new campaign to highlight parks around the state. The first of many events takes place this weekend in [Denali State Park](http://dnr.alaska.gov/parks/units/denali1.htm?ref=ktna.org) at Byers Lake. Park administrators have been working to fill the weekend with events and 40 artists from around the state are bringing their paint brushes and creating artwork.
