# Borough manager search narrowed down to seven candidates

In a special session, the Mat-Su borough assembly pared down a list of prospective borough manager candidates to seven applicants. The candidates will be interviewed via video conferencing on February 18\. The candidates are Leroy Blodgett, Charles Cleaver, Alan Cohen, Mark Combs, John Cramer, David Fraser, and John Moosey.

After that interview process, the list should be whittled down to three candidates.

The final three will be interviewed in person on Feb. 26.

Colin Baenziger & Associates is the executive search firm that was hired to search for a new borough manager after the borough wasn’t successful to hire a borough manager.

Former manager John Duffy retired early last summer. Since then, Elizabeth Gray has been the acting borough manager.
