SUMMARY:Summer Reading Program - Talkeetna Public Library
DESCRIPTION:The Talkeetna Public Library hosts the Summer Reading Program weekly on Thursdays at 11am.  At noon\, all ages are welcome to have lunch together- on the lawn. Weekly backpacks with breakfasts\, lunches\, and snacks will be available for pick up for anyone aged 18 and under. If you are unable to pick up your lunch on Thursday between noon and 1\, please let the library know and they can hold them for you. For more information\, you may call the Talkeetna Library at 907-861-7645. \nBelow is the schedule as of May 28. \n                May 28: Field Day and Planting \n                June 4: Alaska Wild Bird Rehabilitation and Education Centers bringing a kestrel and a barn owl.  Owl pellet dissection will be after lunchtime. \n                June 11: Be Ready for an Exciting Surprise Program \n                June 18:Mystery Adventure Day \n                June 25: Run Away with the Spectacular Green Light Circus \n                July 2: Red\, White\, and Yum: Patriotic Cookie Dash \n                July 9: Create a wonderful mosaic masterpiece for the Library! \n                July 16: Stay Tuned for a Fun Surprise \n                July 24: Goats Visit the Library \n                July 31: Firefighter Olympics: Ready\, Set\, Rescue \n                August 6: End of the Summer Celebration BBQ & Geri’s Retirement Party at Noon
