DESCRIPTION:Professional teaching artist\, Denise Iacovone is offering 3 art workshops this summer at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. \nWorkshop 1: Contour Line Drawing Workshop is a two-day workshop. Participants will learn how to work in contour line\, creating multiple experimental drawings in a studio setting. This two-day workshop will be held on Friday\, June 26th\, and Monday\, June 29th. \nWorkshop 2: Improvisational Painting and Music: Making the Invisible Visible. Participants will learn to listen to\, identify\, and express live music using watercolors and colored pencils. They will strive to capture the essence of the music as we work with the Talkeetna Jazz Orchestra during dress rehearsal and their concert performance. Two-Day Workshop July 1\, 4:30 pm- 7:30 pm and July 2\, 6 pm- 9 pm \nWorkshop 3: Paint and Sip Master class on the work of Vicki McGrath\, Painter of Color and Composition.
