Yellow trash bags may be picked up from Newman’s Gas Station\, Roni’s Deli\, and the Willow Community Center Lobby. SUMMARY:Talkeetna-Trapper Creek Birdathon
DESCRIPTION:The 35th annual Talkeetna-Trapper Creek Birdathon begins on Friday\, May 2nd\, at 6 pm and continues until 6 pm on Saturday\, May 3rd. Area residents and their guests are welcome to participate by identifying as many species of birds as can be found in the count circle during the 24 hour period. You can go birding by yourself or with family or friends\, traveling “green” or using a vehicle. Participants gather around a fire in the evening on Saturday. The gathering will be on the gravel bar near the corner of Third and B Street\, past the Talkeetna Inn.  If you have questions\, leave a message for Jeff or Deb at 907 733-2066.
