DESCRIPTION:The Talkeetna Public Library hosts the Summer Reading Program weekly on Thursdays at 11am.  At noon\, all ages are welcome to have lunch together- on the lawn. Weekly backpacks with breakfasts\, lunches\, and snacks will be available for pick up for anyone aged 18 and under. If you are unable to pick up your lunch on Thursday between noon and 1\, please let the library know and they can hold them for you. DESCRIPTION:The Willow\, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek CERT host the 5th Biennial Su Valley Emergency Preparedness Fair at the Willow Community Center from 11am until 2pm on Saturday\, May 30th\, with education about preparedness for earthquakes\, wildfires\, floods\, CPR\, first aid\, and backcountry safety. There will be indoor and outdoor exhibits with family activities for all ages\, including live demonstrations\, an earthquake escape room\, door prizes and vendors.
