DESCRIPTION:The Talkeetna Public Library hosts a weekly afterschool program called Reading Tuesdays. Students are welcome to come and read\, work on homework or a craft\, and spend time with friends from 3:15 until 5pm every Tuesday. Sunshine Transit is available to pick up students at Talkeetna Elementary School and bring them to the library. Permission slips are required. DESCRIPTION:Alaska band\, Blackwater Railroad Company hosted the Denali Arts Council’s after school music program Su Valley Band Lab. The students are presenting a showcase of their newly acquired skills at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Friday\, May 15th. Doors at 6:30pm\, showcase at 7pm. This showcase will be followed by a Blackwater Railroad Concert at 8pm. Both are free to Su Valley Band Lab participants and spectators of the showcase!
