DESCRIPTION:Denali Arts Council presents the 2026 Jazz Workshop at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Rocco John Iacovone will instruct a two-week jazz workshop open to musicians of all experience levels. Participants who read music and those who play by ear alike will develop skills in listening\, improvisation\, collaboration\, and ensemble performance while expanding their musical toolbox for the future. Workshop sessions begin June 18th at 5:00pm. Participants will learn how to work in contour line\, creating multiple experimental drawings in a studio setting. This two-day workshop will be held on Friday\, June 26th\, and Monday\, June 29th. \nWorkshop 2: Participants will learn to listen to\, identify\, and express live music using watercolors and colored pencils.
