DESCRIPTION:The DEA National Drug Take-Back Day is on Saturday\, April 25th. There are two drop off locations available in the Susitna Valley from 10am to 2pm – at the Wasilla and Palmer Fred Meyers. All are welcome to drop off unused or expired medications in original packaging or a generic bag\, without your personal information. Liquid products\, such as cough syrup\, should remain tightly sealed in the original container. Syringes and medical waste cannot be accepted. Turning in unused medications reduces prescription drug abuse and accidental poisoning\, and protects local waterways and the environment.
