The evening opens with a rare short film documenting the second ascent of Mt. Huntington—captured in 1976\, exactly 50 years ago.\nThat remarkable climb sets the stage for Cindy Jones\, a member of that historic expedition and the first woman to reach the summit. Cindy will share the story of her iconic ascent of the Northwest (French) Ridge—a powerful account of perseverance\, hardship\, and triumph alongside teammates including Roger Robinson.\nFollowing Cindy\, Brian McCullough and Lance Leslie will take the stage to recount their bold 1981 alpine-style ascent of the French Ridge and the mountain’s first complete traverse.\nJoin us for an unforgettable evening of celebration\, history\, and storytelling.\nTickets are $10 and there will be amazing door prizes!!
