Voters will decide on four different Ballot Propositions in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Elections. They will find propositions A, B, C, and D on their ballots.

Ballot Proposition A changes School Board terms from 3-year to 4-year terms, better aligning them with Assembly District terms.

Ballot Proposition B would create a five percent sales tax on all alcoholic beverages throughout the area.

Ballot Proposition C would establish a tax exemption of up to $75,000 for primary-residence homes within the borough, offset by a 1% sales tax.

Lastly, Ballot Proposition D would give the Borough more power in its ability to acquire rights-of-way, do construction on roads, streets, and sidewalks, along with drainage facilities.
