After Oosik organizer Art Mannix announced that there would be no Oosik this year in Talkeetna, a few people tried to figure out who could step up to the plate and organize the event so it wouldn’t be a cancelled event. Local resident and artist Bill Barstow and Paul Beberg have volunteered.
