Afterwards is a winter formal dance\, the Snow Ball\, at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar\, beginning at 7pm. There will be a costume contest\, a hot cocoa bar\, music and dancing. DESCRIPTION:Denali Arts Council presents a screening of the film 76 Days Adrift on Saturday\, January 3rd\, at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. From Executive Producer Ang Lee\, 76 Days Adrift documents the experience of Steven Callahan\, author of Adrift: 76 Days Lost at Sea. He recounts the night of February 4th\, 1982\, when a collision with a whale caused his boat to sink in the Atlantic Ocean. Callahan survived for 76 days in a life raft with limited supplies. The film is directed by Joe Wein\, with music by Patrick Stump. Doors open at 6:30 pm\, and the film begins at 7pm. Tickets are available at denaliartscouncil.org.
