SUMMARY:CERT Training Course- POSTPONED
DESCRIPTION:The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) hosts a free 3-day course for teens and adults at the Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday\, March 14th and 15th\, and Saturday\, March 21st. This includes classroom instruction\, hands-on practice and simulated drills. Pre-registration is required. For more information email talon.boeve@matsugov.us or call (907)707-3336. \nThis program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as\, fire safety\, light search and rescue\, disaster medical operations\, team organization\, and more. \nDue to scheduling conflicts\, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) has postponed their upcoming 3-day course.
