Last week Mat-Su Borough students swept the podium at the state Science Olympiad Tournament in Anchorage. A year of practice paid off for students from Mat-Su Career and Technical high school and Treeland middle school, who beat 29 other schools to become the two teams to represent Alaska at the national tournament in Dayton, Ohio this coming May.

As it turns out Talkeetna has been grooming some scientific olympiads of it’s own. KTNA’s **Melis Coady** has more.
