This week on Su Valley Voice, host Phillip Manning was joined by Jim Renkert from the Alaska Division of Forestry, Maura Schumacher from the Kenai Watershed Forum, and Talkeetna resident Brian Okonek to discuss May Day trees and other invasive species. In the following excerpt, Renkert describes how, despite being considered invasive, the May Day tree is still legal to sell in Alaska.
