In this episode, we feature Sunshine Community Health Center for their monthly check-in with KTNA listeners. In addition to hearing updates on services, jobs and events, we spend the hour discussing current topics of interest ranging from the fallout of the current government shutdown on SNAP benefits and overall food security, questions about immunizations and a recap of the recent Health Fair. In studio guest were Sierra Winter Smith, Community Relations Manager, and Dr. Michael Randell, the clinic’s new full time dentist.
