The [Alaska Energy Authority](http://www.aidea.org/aea/?ref=ktna.org) released a preliminary decision last week and recommended to pursue a Susitna hydro electric project at the Lower Watana site. The 51-page preliminary decision document is available for review by clicking [here](https://ktna.org/media/2010/AEA%5F23NOV2010final%5Fwith%5Fletter.pdf). AEA acting director Michael Harper encouraged the public to comment on the decision document and announced upcoming workshops to be held in February.
