The 2023 Oosik was this past weekend and we have timely piece for *Susitna Writer’s Voice* from our archives. In 2014, Dan Harrell wrote about his experiences racing in the Oosik. As a result of his completive spirit he quickly progressed from a brand new skier to being at the top of the pack. *Susitna Writer’s Voice* airs on KTNA Sundays following the 6pm announcements and Mondays at 12:30pm after the midday news.
