This is the first of a new 3-part *Susitna Writer's Voice* featuring a story written and read by Kathy Trump and Ruth Wood. The episodes were produced by Corinne Smith. Almost every tourist blog describes Talkeetna as quirky. This story is a love song to our unconventional, dynamic town and the people and artists who call it home. The story is fiction. Any resemblance to real people is just a happy coincidence.
