**BURNED TO THE GROUND— The Fowler residence at Sunshine Road was consumed by a fire on Wednesday night.** *Photo by Diana Haecker*

Talkeetna and Willow Fire Departments, Talkeetna EMS and Trapper Creek EMS all responded to a house fire on Sunshine Road late Wednesday night. Residents for miles around reported hearing sirens and some saw flames shooting high in the sky. The response crews, including Troopers, were on the scene until well after 4:00 in the morning.
