An unusual worldwide conference is in the planning for the end of July in Golden, Colorado. Talkeetna resident and Denali climbing ranger Roger Robinson has been organizing the conference on human waste issues in remote areas for over 3 years. The conference, [Exit Strategies: Managing Human Waste in the Wild](http://www.americanalpineclub.org/exitstrategies?ref=ktna.org), will bring together interpreters, managers and scientists from 11 different countries and the U.S.
