DESCRIPTION:Do you need assistance providing a Thanksgiving meal for your family? Upper Susitna Food Pantry is joining with community partners this year to provide families in need with a turkey and all the fixings for their Thanksgiving meal.  The Thanksgiving Blessing distribution is on November 22nd at Church on the Rock located at Mile 99 on the Parks Highway from 10am-4pm. Please bring an ID for proof of zip code. The Upper Susitna Food Pantry will be closed Friday\, November 21st to prepare for the Thanksgiving Blessing distribution.

SUMMARY:Pressure Canner Gauge Testing
DESCRIPTION:The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service is offering Pressure Canner Gauge Testing on Thursday\, May 8th. They will be at Church on the Rock\, located at Mile 99 of the Parks Highway\, from 9am until noon. Then they will be at the Talkeetna Public Library from 1 to 4pm. All are welcome to bring a pressure canner dial gauge in for a test to make sure it is accurate and functioning properly. New or unused gauges should be tested before first use. DESCRIPTION:Impact Alaska and Church on the Rock host a Spur Road Cleanup on May 19th from 9am until 12pm. Volunteers meet at the Sunshine “Y” parking area and branch out from there.
