Announcements
KTNA provides announcements about community events and services as well as classifieds designed to facilitate individuals selling or trading items in the community, rental opportunities, and employment opportunities. Announcements also include Denali Echoes, KTNA’s messaging service for individuals without regular phone service. The website page for “Today’s Announcements” lists all the announcements that are presently read on-air, as well as announcements that are still current but are not being read on-air, which appear in faded text.
We also encourage you to submit announcements on-line — it saves time for us and helps make sure you get the words you want. However, you can also call 733-1700 to submit an announcement. Classifieds and Echoes only may also be left on the answering machines on the studio line at 733-1200. Classifieds and Echoes are updated by all KTNA newsreaders. Other announcements are updated only during business hours on weekdays.
