Robert Ambrose - DJ for Rhythm Connection
Rhythm Connection transports listeners to cultures around the world, through incredibly diverse music from the African diaspora. Since its 1993 inception in Alaska, Robert has presented fresh music every week to make you dance or bring you solace, or both. Robert has been kept Rhythm Connection on air for over 30 years. He started the show in Talkeetna and kept it going after he moved Port Townsend. Rhythm Connection airs on KTNA Fridays 8-10pm.
Katie Ash - Evening News Reader
Katie reads the evening news on Thursdays from 6-6:30pm
Miles Bloomfield - DJ for Die Susitna Tocher, Morning and Evening News Reader
Miles hales from England and is a big help to KTNA. His show Die Susitna Tocher features classical music and airs every other Tuesday at 8pm. Miles reads the Friday evening news, Monday morning news and Sunday evening announcements. He also helps out during Su Valley Voice by answering the phones.
Paul Button - DJ for Hits and Misses
Paul has extensive musical knowledge that he shares on his show along with classic rock music and a few other genres. Hits & Misses airs Wednesdays from 8-9pm.
Forrest Cook - DJ for Sounds of the South
Sounds of the South features a mix of country music and airs Mondays 8-9pm. Forrest is a family man and will often have one of his kids helping out on his show.
Trisha Costello - Morning News Reader
Trisha also hosts Su Valley Voice, KTNA's public affairs show. You can hear her read the news Thursdays at 7:42-8am.
Nancy Crowden - Honky Tonk Jukebox
Honky Tonk Jukebox’s been around since 2016 and I have a pretty loyal following, it’s kinda like family. The show is about country and western honky tonkin’ music, but that’s not all…… you never know what I’ll play. I welcome requests and do my best to play them, within reason, no disco or pop, I draw the line at that. SO… come and hang out with all of us Saturday nights, 8 to 11pm. And always… Keep a song in your heart.
Geri Denkewalter - Morning News Reader
Geri’s been a resident of Talkeetna since 1977, hosting several shows like Generation Gap, Book Shelf, news reader and local reporter on KTNA for many years. Currently, she is your Wednesday morning news reader.
Kathleen Fleming - DJ for Just K, Midday News Reader, StarDate Susitna
Kathleen has been an avid volunteer at KTNA for many years. She has been producing StarDate Susitna since KTNA's beginning. Her most recent show Just K is a fun music quiz show.
Maureen Gualtieri - Morning News Reader
Maureen Gualtieri began her career in public radio as an evening newsreader at KTNA back in 1996, and soon thereafter morphed into a music DJ. After hosting a late night alternative/classic rock show on KTNA called Exile on Second Street for over 15 years, Maureen took a break for several years of inner reflection. She emerged from this period of enlightenment as a bona fide Morning Person and now delights in reading the morning news every Thursday.

John Jackson - DJ for DeeperCuts
John records his show at his home studio in Anchorage. He and his wife come to Talkeetna to attend KTNA events. His show DeeperCuts is an eclectic mix of songs by featured artists, bands, or topics, formed into a loosely connected collection of songs selected from a wide variety of source material. The chosen tracks are tunes rare and obscure, fitted carefully with overlooked gems, and songs that no longer get much airplay. The research for each show is a labor of love, along with the challenge of curating these musical works of art into a satisfying hour of music. You can hear DeeperCuts Mondays from 9-10pm

KTNA has been a part of my life since I moved to Alaska. I have had a radio show for 22 years! The show used to be blue grass and is now random. Random Radio airs on Mondays 1-2pm.
Renamary Rauchenstein - DJ for Music That Makes Me Happy
My history with KTNA goes back over 20 years. I’ve been a newsreader, a program director for a weekly program, a member of the KTNA Advisory Board. I’ve worked from the log cabin across the street from the present radio station, and had visitors walk in awed by the fact that our radio station was “Just like Northern Exposure”. I volunteered originally because I wanted to meet people outside my group. I realized that the Talkeetna I moved to over 40 years ago had changed. I no longer knew everyone I saw at the post office. The radio station runs primarily on volunteers and I wanted to be one of them. A town radio station is an integral part of a community, and I remain a firm believer that in volunteering at KTNA you always receive more than you give in the transaction.
On my show, I play country, Christian, easy listening, French, the blues, African, , jazz, patriotic and rap. Namely, It’s Music That t Makes Me Happy :). I love music and if it moves me or reminds me of someone or something, or it makes me laugh. Music That Makes Me Happy airs Thursdays from 2-3pm.

Holly Stinson - DJ for The Patchwork Hr, Midday News Reader
I enjoy my “radio Fridays”, bringing you the midday news, followed by a music show The Patchwork Hour from 1-2pm. It’s a mix of mostly folk, a bit of celtic, along with some other songs I just enjoy so it is indeed a patchwork of music. You might call me a creature of habit, since I’ve been doing both for over 20 years now. I’ve also helped create the bygone Nuggets series which you can still access on the KTNA website, and currently help with the storytelling show and podcast The Blue Tarp. Can you tell I like stories, and people?
Kathy Trump - Midday News Reader
In 1988, I was working as a waitress at the Latitude 62 when a group of intrepid people held a meeting to start a local radio station. As is the rule in a small town, if you show some interest you are persuaded to join the cause. I witnessed the birth of KTNA and was in the studio the first time it went on the air. Work as a teacher kept me from active participation in the station, but some thirty years later, I am thrilled to be back getting my sea legs as a midday news reader. KTNA is the heart of our community, and it is an honor to be a small part of it. Kathy reads the news Tuesdays 12-12:30pm.
