Nuggets–Bruce Gilbert: Mountaineering in the 1950’s

In this archived program, host Holly Stinson talks to former Talkeetna resident Bruce Gilbert about his Mt. Blackburn and McKinley climbs in the late fifties and early sixties, and his memories of teaching at the “Little Red Schoolhouse” (now the Talkeetna Historical Society Museum) for one year, in 1963-’64. Audio runs a half hour.
