Two Trapper Creek men were involved in an altercation this weekend. Shots were fired and 911 was called. An investigation is in progress and a 52-year-old Trapper Creek man has been charged with attempted murder and assault.
On Sunday evening, Troopers responded to a 911 call of shots fired at a residence in Trapper Creek.
Their investigation revealed George Blodgett, 52, went to a residence in Trapper Creek where he fired gunshots at the house and the resident living there. The victim returned fire and hit Blodgett in the leg. Blodgett fled the scene and troopers later contacted him at the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
He was arrested and charged with attempted murder and assault. The victim was not seriously injured in the attack.
