Due to icy conditions in the Upper Su Valley, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek Elementary, Willow and Su Valley High Schools are closed. Other Mat Su Borough area schools are in session today. Road conditions continue to be hazardous in areas for school buses. Walking and driving in downtown Talkeetna is extremely icy; pedestrians and drivers should be very cautious as they enter downtown.
