Small earthquake hits Denali fault

Although this morning’s earthquake seemed very slight in the Talkeetna area, the Alaska Earthquake Information Center measured it at a preliminary magnitude of 3.9  and a depth of 82 miles.  It was located 26 miles southeast of Kantishna, 62 miles northwest of Talkeetna and 87 miles north of Skwentna.
