Talkeetna Troopers responded to the area near Fish Lakes Creek near Skwentna last week to a report of burglarized cabins.
Witnesses said that two men had been seen exiting a second story of one of the cabins.
Troopers responded by helicopter to the area and found that several items, including a four-wheeler and firearms, had been stolen.
On Friday, Troopers responded to the area again when it was discovered that the suspects were still in the area. Troopers hiked and canoed to where the suspects were located.
Jeffrey Indellicati, of New Jersey, and Benjamin Cross, of Florida, finally came out of hiding after 45 minutes. They were placed under arrest. It was discovered that they were fugitives from justice from their respective states.
They were transported to Mat Su Pretrial and arraigned in Palmer District Court. They are charged with misconduct involving weapons, criminal mischief, burglary and theft.
