The Alaska Earthquake Information Center recorded an earthquake last night at 7:15 that had a magnitude of 5.0
The quake was centered 24 miles southeast of Skwentna, 16 miles northwest of Willow and 35 miles southwest of Talkeetna. The quake was located at a depth of only 12 miles.
People from as far away as Anchorage and Chugiak felt the quake, but no reports of damage have been received. The center reported that hundreds of calls about the earthquake were received.
