Earthquake rattles upper valley

An earthquake was located by the Alaska Earthquake Information center this (wed) afternoon at 2:19 .  The quake was centered one mile Southeast of Talkeetna and 43 miles northeast of Skwentna and was measured at a depth of just 5 miles.  The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 3.24  The event was felt in Trapper Creek and Talkeenta.  No reports of damage have been received.
