Alaska State Troopers responded to a call to recover a stolen snow machine in Trapper Creek last Thursday. Investigation revealed that in fact there were two stolen snow machines. 42-year-old Shawn Phillips of Trapper Creek was contacted at the Forks Roadhouse and determined to be in possession of the two stolen snow machines. Philips was also in possession of two firearms, a violation of his conditions of release for previous convictions. Phillips was placed under arrest and transported to MatSu Pretrial and remanded onThirty-Thousand Dollars bail.
