This week we finished up the epic story of the Trojan War with the story of a clever and famous trick by the Greeks. We also heard the Grimm Brothers tale of the Six Swans, and practiced some tongue twisters that start with “six.” The links to the stories are below, and here are the tongue twisters. Try saying each of them quickly 5 times in a row.
Six sick sheep shined silly shoes
Six slippery sharks slide seaward
In a few weeks we will hear some about the aftermath of the Trojan War with tales from the Odyssey and the Aeneid. Stay tuned!
