Search efforts underway for missing hunter

Alaska State Troopers and other rescue personnel are searching for a missing 49-year-old hunter in the Petersville area. According to officials, troopers were notified Saturday night that the hunter had not returned to camp by about 11:00 p.m. On Sunday, a ground search began. Troopers say weather conditions on Sunday prevented an air search. The search continues, with air support from the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center available if weather conditions allow.
