The Alaska State Troopers are seeking information concerning two men who they believe are responsible for multiple break-ins on Oil Well Road in Trapper Creek.

According to the troopers, three cabins were reported burglarized over the last week. Trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters says a follow-up in the area shows multiple additional cabins that appear to have been broken into as well. Peters says efforts are underway to contact those property owners. Troopers say the perpetrators of the break-ins seem to know the area and when cabins would be empty. Items stolen include firearms, winter clothing, ATVs, chainsaws, generators, and other items.

On Tuesday, the Alaska State Troopers released pictures that they believe picture the two men responsible for the burglaries. The images are from game cameras at affected cabins. The pictures are posted at KTNA.org and on the KTNA Facebook page. The troopers ask that anyone with information about the two men or the break-ins call 352-5401.
